Job Description
Radiance Technologies is seeking a recent Ph. D. graduate to work as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of Electrical Engineering. Experience performing R&D with MEMS, RF Sensors, Materials, and Systems, Electro-Optical Systems, or Metamaterials is required. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing independent research and proposal writing for new technology areas related to this field. Additionally, the ability to drive and supervise existing research programs, and develop prototypes is expected. Responsibilities will include documentation of progress, effective communication, and presentation of results and progress. Experience working with small business innovative research programs and writing grants is a plus. The initial appointment will be eligible for extension based off of performance and availability of funding.
Qualifications:
Experience with a wide range of operating systems including Windows and Linux
Experience developing custom software and hardware tools to assist in performing reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis
Active Top Secret Clearance
Required Skills
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or relevant technical field
US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Required Experience
Programming experience working with MATLAB
Metrology experience performing material characterization
